And honestly it's one of the cheaper pro-ish tools or there- I had to buy final draft a couple years ago and hoo boy. When I first got it (on sale) even that seemed like a lot of money, but if you have any pro ambitions it's necessary to have good tools, a and if it's something you love that's worth investing in. But id say if you have research to organize or write in narrative chunks or have multiple drafts to integrate it's absolutely worth it. Like if you are somebody who works better just writing straight through a draft and you don't need s lot of features or even find those features distracting then it might not be worth it for you. ![]() Which is also to say: I think it really depends on how you write and how you intend to use it. The ability to organize/reorganize and essentially do digital whiteboarding is huge, I can track individual drafts or editing passes easily, the tagging system is robust - it's got a lot of stuff that I use constantly. It super depends on how you work, but for me it's been fantastic.
